CICOA Aging & In-Home Solutions announced today that it will shut down IndyCreativeAging.org, a website it acquired in 2009, because of low traffic and difficulty monetizing the site. The move is set to occur on Tuesday, Sept. 30, at 5 p.m.
"We are making this change to better support our service priorities," said CICOA President and CEO Orion Bell. "As we move forward, our focus will remain on providing innovative answers, services and support that families need to help loved ones remain at home in better health, with better care, at a lower cost."
CICOA is the premier source of information and access to resources for older adults and persons with disabilities living in Central Indiana. Through a network of agencies, service groups and volunteers, CICOA provides home care services including home health care, home-delivered and congregate meals, transportation services, home accessibility modifications, respite care and caregiver assistance. It is Indiana’s largest Area Agency on Aging and serves Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion, Morgan and Shelby Counties.
