CICOA has had the privilege of philanthropic support from some of the leading organizations and individuals in Central Indiana. The contributions, both large and small, have enabled us to continue our mission of helping older persons and those of any age with a disability to live with the greatest possible independence, dignity and quality of life.

Why is it important to you to support CICOA?"CareGivers, Inc. Home Health Services and CICOA have been partners for over twenty years. We are both advocates for the aged and disabled. Throughout these twenty plus years, we have seen how government funds, both State and Federal, have been cut year after year, yet the needs of this population continues to grow exponentially as the population grows older. As a CICOA vendor, we are proud to have the opportunity to support CICOA." What would you say to someone considering donating to CICOA?"CICOA is a one-stop shop for services to the elderly and disabled. They not only provide services through vendors such as CareGivers, Inc. that enhance one’s ability to age in place; they are also a vast resource for information on available community resources. They have been very creative in becoming less dependent on government sources and reaching out to the community for partners. We all have a common goal of making this an elder friendly community that supports its aging population. So, rather than give to a variety of organizations, know that your donations are distributed effectively and efficiently through CICOA.."
Tell us about the work your organization does."Each and every day millions of Americans find themselves in need of health services that extend beyond a traditional doctor’s visit or hospital stay. Being at home in a safe and familiar setting can improve recovery, maximize independence and offer the opportunity to create an environment which is comfortable and secure. CareGivers, Inc. is a state-licensed and Medicare/Medicare-certified home health agency. We offer a variety of services in the home setting ranging from specialized skilled services to attendant/respite care, provided by our sister agency CareGivers 2 Personal Care Services. In addition to our exceptional home health services, CareGivers, Inc.’s latest specialty is the Homesight Certified Low Vision Program. This program is designed to assist clients who are losing their vision due to chronic diseases. The Low Vision Program helps the client adjust to their vision loss and remain at home. For a FREE Comprehensive Assessment or more information, please call our Central Intake Coordinators at (317) 252-5958." |
To strengthen and expand our relationships with other organizations in serving our community, CICOA has established a corporate benefits package. We offer a variety of ways to partner with CICOA, with options to meet every corporate focus and budget. Your organization can connect with our clients and families through your financial support of programs that directly affect their daily lives. Your staff can become engaged as volunteers in one of our many activities. For more information, download our Corporate Benefits Package.
