What is a County Council on Aging?

CICOA Aging & In-Home Solutions has established local, independent councils on aging in each of the eight counties it serves. Each council is comprised of dedicated volunteers who help define the problems and needs of older Hoosiers in their county and identify solutions.

Membership:

Membership is free and open to anyone or any organization that has a sincere interest in the welfare and well-being of older adults in Johnson County.

JOIN and--

• share your opinions and concerns
• learn about issues that affect you, your friends or loved ones
• experience activities and events that enrich the lives of others

Meetings:

Monthly meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of each month at 10:00 a.m. alternating between

• The Social of Greenwood (formerly Greenwood Senior Center), 550 Polk Ave., Greenwood, (even months)
• the Franklin Active Adult Center, 160 E. Adams St., Franklin. (odd number months)
