What is a County Council on Aging?

CICOA Aging & In-Home Solutions has establiched local, independent councils on aging in each of the eight counties it serves. Each council is comprised of dedicated volunteers who help define the problems and needs of older Hoosiers in their county and identify solutions.

Membership:

Membership is free and open to anyone or any organization that has a sincere interest in the welfare and well-being of older adults in Hancock County.

JOIN and--

  • share your opinions and concerns
  • learn about issues afffecting you, your friends or loved ones
  • experience activities and events that enrich the lives of others

Meetings:

Monthly meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at noon at the Hancock County Community Foundation Building at 312 E. Main St., Greenfield, Ind., 46140 .
