What is a County Council on Aging?

CICOA Aging & In-Home Solutions has establiched local, independent councils on aging in each of the eight counties it serves. Each council is comprised of dedicated volunteers who help define the problems and needs of older Hoosiers in their county and identify solutions.

Membership:

Membership is free and open to anyone or any organization that has a sincere interest in the welfare and well-being of older adults in Boone County.

JOIN and--

• share your opinions and concerns
• learn about issues afffecting you, your friends or loved ones
• experience activities and events that enrich the lives of others

Meetings:

March 20, Noon: Boone County Senior Services, 515 Crown Pointe Drive Lebanon, IN 46052, Angela Norris will speak on Managed Care/Medicare Replacement Insurance 

April 8, 1 p.m.: Zionsville Meadows

May 13, 1 p.m.: Zionsville Meadows

June 19, Noon: Boone County Senior Services,  Excel Home Health will present on COPD/CHF

July 8, 1 p.m.: Crown Pointe

August 12, 1 p.m.: Crown Pointe

September 18, Noon: Boone County Senior Services, Mary Ann Yates will present on Elder Moves

October 14, 1 p.m.: Zionsville Meadows

November 11, 1 p.m.: Zionsville Meadows

December 11, Noon: Boone County Senior Services
